Bored and Loving It: Life with No Cellphones is a book by children’s author, Richard Pate, who is a law Professor at Sacred Heart University. The work teaches kids the importance of disconnecting from technology and emphasizes mindfulness and learning through observation.

All of the Other Reindeer: Book 1

All of the Other Reindeer is a series of books by children’s author, Sean Heffron, a business Professor at Sacred Heart University. The series is currently in progress, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. The books revolve around Santa’s reindeer, explaining their stories, since Rudolph gets all the attention.


All of the Other Reindeer: Book 2

 Dasher explains he was dashing about, fixing all of the hilariously incorrect signage at the north pole (he has a big bag of dashes (hyphens) that he uses). Rudolph asked to play in this little reindeer game, and screwed up a lot of signs by putting the dashes in the wrong place. Of course, Dasher told Rudolph he couldn’t play in this reindeer game anymore, he’d caused too much trouble.


All of the Other Reindeer: Book 3

Prancer starts by saying he thinks all reindeer stories should rhyme, and begins in verse about how he wrote a song of his own about what really happened that Christmas Eve. He sets his song to the tune of a popular rock and roll song, not a Christmas tune.

All of the Other Reindeer: Book 4

Vixen is the first and only female reindeer (she/hers) to pull Santa’s Sleigh. She tells a story about how hard it was facing discrimination, ridicule, and inequality as she fought to achieve her dream.

All of the Other Reindeer: Book 5

Comet isn’t the fastest reindeer, he’s the fartiest. He always has a green gas cloud emanating from behind him (like a comet), but it’s because he has digestive issues. He tells the story of the “Foggy Christmas Eve” from his perspective,
